Light minimalist touches, a nice mix of wood, clean lines and open space. Plenty of countryside nearby. We aim to make friends as well as offer somewhere to stay.
Pleasant, relaxed, good food and bonhomie. The default bedroom has a 4K 3D television with Netflix, Blu Ray and a desk.
Some nice parks and Creswell Crags, Clumber Park, Sherwood, Chatsworth House but for a few examples.
  • Richard est un excellent hôte! J'étais étudiante française pendant 3 mois en Angleterre pour mon stage linguistique. L'emplacement est propre et agréable. Richard est très patient, drôle, très très sympathique, écoute. L'emplacement est très proche du supermarché et de la gare. Très pratique pour voyager en Angleterre. La chambre est bonne, avec un bon lit, des rangements pour les vêtements ou accessoires, grand écran et quelques consoles (xbox, playsation ... avec netflix!) Ce fut pour moi un moment incroyable! Je recommande cet appartement et cet hôte. Le rapport qualité prix est très bon. Merci à tous Richard!

  • Endroit fantastique pour une personne. Une fois que Richard m'a fait visiter la maison, il m'a laissé tranquille pendant tout le séjour. À 2 minutes à pied d'un grand supermarché et à 5 minutes à pied du centre-ville. Beaucoup de stationnement gratuit à l'extérieur. Zone protégée. Recommande fortement!

    Cosy cottage style, middle 2 up 2 down terrace in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood only 5 minutes walk from Worksop town centre and amenities.
    Front door opens onto an open plan downstairs living area. Living area includes dining table, 3 seater sofa and chair with wall mounted flat screen tv. There are a selection of DVDs, games, toys and books in the cupboards available for use. Fully equipped kitchen including coffee pod machine. I provide milk so you can have a cup of tea on arrival without worrying about finding a shop! Basic condiments (ketchup, brown sauce etc..) are also available for you to use. Downstairs bathroom with bath, walk in shower and toilet. Small galley conservatory out of the back door with toaster, microwave, washing machine and utility area. Shared flight of steps leading up to the back garden with small decking area and outdoor seating. Upstairs consists of 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a demi four poster bed, sliding mirrored wardrobe and wall mounted television with free view. The smaller second bedroom has a full size single bed with pull out trundle which can be made up on request (please note the trundle is not suitable for adults). Also has small television that plays DVDs and a Wii games unit but does not connect to free view. Wi-Fi readily available throughout the house.
    The house is situated on a quiet residential street only a 5 minute walk from the top of Worksop town centre. 3 traditional local pubs within 1 minutes walk while livelier town centre pubs 5 to 10 minutes. Plenty of varied places to eat close by and 6 screened Savoy Cinema 3 minutes walk around the corner. Clumber Park is only a 10 minute drive up the road with Sherwood Forest, The Major Oak and Rufford Country Park only 20-25 minutes away. Perfectly located for students of Welbeck's School of Artisan Food with it being only 5 miles away and a simple 10 minute drive.
  • Lieu d’exception : tout y est, une décoration soignée, un lieu d’une propreté irréprochable, des attentions (pain, thé, café, beurre, confitures, gel douche, shampoing, torchons...), accueil chaleureux et souple du point de vue horaire grâce à la box, grande proximité des commerces et points de restauration. Seul point mais qui ne nous concernait pas les chambres sont accessibles par un escalier raide qui pourrait être difficile pour un petit enfant. Le nôtre était ravi, j’ai la télévision dans ma chambre Maman ! Et l’escalier est tout doux ! (La moquette). Nous avons très envie de revenir pour profiter du lieu et des sites à visiter, merci !

    This recently refurbished apartment sits above Heist Brew Co bar and Brewery. With floor to ceiling feature windows, this 2 bedroom, 1 ensuite spacious and open planned studio apartment boasts quirky evening mood lighting, and unique decor that adds to its industrial styling. Offering the unique experience of staying above a brewery we also offer brewing experiences which can be found via our website by searching Heist Craft. Or check out our events and come and stay with us for the weekend.
    Heist is situated in an old school from the 1800's and is attached to the brewery which is situated in the oldest building in Clowne so the building is steeped in history. It is also a building with original characteristics such as single pane wooden framed windows and wooden structural beams which have been stripped to their original glory. The apartment has 2 bedrooms which are divided, however it is recommended that if both bedrooms are being used for the stay that the parties know each other as they are required to share the bathroom attached to Bedroom 2. The bar is operational hours are as follows: Mon - Closed Tue - 12 - 9 Wed - 12 - 9 Thurs - 12 - 10 Fri - 12 - 11 Sat - 12 - 11 Sun - 12 - 9 The walls are very thick between the bar and the apartment however it is worth noting that customers and music may be heard on busy evenings until closure.
    Clowne is an old mining village situated in the middle of rolling fields surrounded by a number of other villages, local parks, heritage sites, Manors, stately homes as well as being home to walking and cycle routes with links to national routes. Clumber Park, Creswell Craggs, Bolsover Castle, Hardwick Hall, Welbeck Abbey and Rother Valley to name but a few local attractions. (Gullivars world coming soon to Rother Valley) There are also other towns, cities and other attractions within driving distance (or a short bus or train journey) such as Chesterfield, Sheffield, Worksop, Newark as well as the famous Chatsworth Manor for a bit of culture and Meadowhall shopping centre all within a 20 - 45 minute drive. Heist is located 2 miles from the M1 with quick links to all the above. Sporting activities are also in abundance such as walking and riding, climbing and bouldering, water sports (Rother Valley) as well as multiple golf courses: Rother Valley - 7 mile Renishaw - 6 mile Bondhay - 2 mile Lindrick - 10mile Worksop - 9 mile Barlborough - 1 mile Clowne is small enough to walk around with local tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and bars with the best obviously being Heist. But all offer something different for a multiple night stay.

    A budget option of a single room in my lovely modern home, with use of the family bathroom. I live within 15-20 mins drive from Mansfield and Worksop. Chesterfield, Sheffield and Nottingham can all be reached in less than an hour. Sherwood Forest and Sherwood pines mountain bike trail are less than 10 mins drive, with lots of nice walks in the vicinity. Easy on street parking and a relaxed homely feel.
    The room has a single bed. It is at the back of the house so very quiet and looks out onto the garden. The bathroom is just next door. Towels and toiletries are provided, and please help yourself to a hot drink downstairs. I'm happy to help you out with other things you might need, or may have forgotten so please do just ask. My home is very relaxed, it's not a hotel, but that's what I and my guests enjoy about it. I offer a clean space but my stuff may be around. I am a busy person but rest assured your room will always be clean, tidy and ready for you! I don't stay in the house but am easily available by phone and can be back in less than 10 mins if there are any problems. I have other double rooms listed so if more than one guest is booked, the bathroom and kitchen facilities will be shared

  • Endroit fantastique pour rester. Debbie semble avoir pensé à tout et a été si utile. Elle a également répondu très rapidement à toutes les demandes et était très désireuse d'aider. Les lits étaient très confortables (ce qui n'a pas toujours été le cas), donc c'était génial. Nous choisirions certainement de rester dans cette propriété à nouveau. En outre, le village est très bien desservi avec un Tesco et un Aldi, ainsi que d'autres magasins et plats à emporter qui, pour une petite place, était génial! Great location for family holiday, 30 min drive to Peak District, Chatsworth House, Matlock and Bakewell. This is a lovely home with fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with double beds, third bedroom with a single bed. Please help yourself to coffee, tea and cereal. Soft towels and fragrant toiletries are provided. There are two parking spaces and a sunny front garden.
    All bedrooms except for the single room have tv's (Netflix only). The bathroom has a bath with a shower facility. There is a cloakroom on the ground floor. The house had broadband which is free to use. Kitchen is fully fitted with fridge/freezer, oven/grill, hob, dishwasher and washer dryer. The available area for guests is kitchen-diner, bedrooms, bathroom, launge and cloakroom. Bedroom 3 has a small desk with intergrated mirror.

Nous avons apprécié les soins et l’attention, nous avons même eu des articles de petit-déjeuner fournis pour nous! En outre, Minnie a laissé deux lits de voyage dans la maison pour nos bébés, ce qui nous a même évité les tracas de les emmener avec nous. Ce fut une expérience très agréable dans l'ensemble et nous avons apprécié le quartier - le château de Bolsover vaut le coup d'œil, et vous ne devriez pas manquer de visiter Chatsworth House.     The Barn is set remote and in an isolated part of the Country. Absolutely divine, The Barn is surrounded by countryside and nature. We have a luxurious designer kitchen and bathroom, laundry room, cosy and warm snug with log burner and two fantastic double bedrooms - Stags and Hares, with sleeping arrangements for 2 more in the Hare bedroom. Outside is a private secluded patio with private use of the hot tub but our own gardens are free for you to wander around.
    Situated over two floors and totally independent within. Staircase to first floor from large fully equipped designer kitchen Dining Room which has oven, coffee machine, warming drawer, fridge and dishwasher all available for guest use. Separate room for cloaks, boots etc. with washing machine, dryer, second fridge and freezer. Bedrooms have their own hairdryer, shower mat and welcome toiletries. Bathroom has freestanding bath and separate walk in shower.
    Oxcroft Farm is surrounded by beautiful countryside and plenty of places to walk. Bolsover Castle is 2 miles away and Hardwick Halls are 4 miles. The area is steeped in history and a book is available for guests to read about this as well as places of interest that they may chose to visit. Cresswell Crags is a National Heritage Site and is 2 miles away with it's amazing visitor centre and a wonderful meander around a fabulous lake surrounded by caves originally occupied by Woolly Mammoth, Sabre Tooth Tigers and prehistoric Man. A country inn serving fantastic food is a 40 minute stroll away on a bridle path, or five minutes in the car. The village of Clowne has a large TESCO, Aldi, Wilkinsons as well as several pizza and Chinese takeaways. There are three cafes and two Wine Bar Bistros. As well as a traditional authentic Italian Restaurant (also offering a take out service). It is within walking distance or five minutes by Car. The town of Bolsover is also within walking distance or a couple of minutes by car. Bolsover Castle is here, An Antique Centre, independent shops, Post Office as well as a couple of pubs and a Wetherspoons. We have the wedding venues of: Hazel Gap Barn, The Elm Tree at Elmton, Bondhay Golf Club, Ringwood Hall, Van Dyk's, Mosborough Hall, Renishaw Hall, Renishaw Golf Club, Sitwell Arms oh but to name few right in our doorstep. What could be more lovely than leaving from here, staying here, coming back here??? In our home, we have a "gone with the wind" staircase which we would love to have any bride come down our stairs for the perfect photograph! We have intentions for sleeping arrangements for another 8 in The Stables which is part of our gated property and this should be available for Bridal Parties only from 2021.

The location is superb for visiting The Peak District and Sherwood Forest.

Both bathrooms have shaver sockets and illuminated mirrors. The modern kitchen has a washer dryer, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, Neff oven and grill, extractor, liquidizer , coffee making facilities and microwave.
