In the lounge, there is a fantastic window seat in the bay window where you can watch the whole of west bay harbour & sea. The apartment is light with a fully equipped kitchen and a large walk in shower. Outside the front door the beach is just 70 metres away with a green area outside the apartments and the harbour to the other side.

Our light bright garden view annexe is ideally situated for enjoying all that the Jurassic coastline has to offer. The harbour at West Bay (setting for ITV’s drama Broadchurch) is a pleasant 10 minute walk away. The bustling historic town of Bridport is only 5 minutes by car or about 25 minutes on foot. There you will find a twice weekly street market, a variety of shops and a good choice of pubs and cafes. Both Bridport Leisure Centre and the Golf Club with driving range are nearby.

Ground floor apartment 100 ms from beaches and coast walks, restaurants pubs and fishing harbour. Two double bedrooms are separated by a bathroom, and the big airy living space is furnished with mid century antiques and market finds. Here also is the fully equipped kitchen and dining area, (seats 6) work desk and lolling around zone looking south onto the deck and communal garden. There is free parking on site and everything you need is a short walk away.

Lovely cosy wood cabin. Double bed (4”0) TV, sofa, shower cubicle, WC and wash hand basin. Backing on to a lane leading to Bothenhampton nature reserve. Walking distance to West Bay Harbour and into Bridport Market town. Great coastal walks and cycle trails all along the south west coastal path. Bridport Golf club is 1/2 mile away, we also have some highly rated local restaurants, bars and pubs Guests are welcome to use the gardens and our sea view decking.

The wood room retreat is in the wooded area of our forest garden at Merriott House. Very private and quiet. Birdsong. Silence. Open air kitchen. Simple and sufficient. Separate bathroom across the garden with shower and toilet for sole use of cabin residents. Washing machine available. . Electric power in bedroom. Robs chickens live near the cabin. Please ensure visiting dogs are kept under control. Our piano is available for guest use in the main house
