Learn the basics of skateboarding from me, a professional skateboarder, at this outdoor skate park in Boston. This family-friendly lesson is aimed at all skill levels. I recommend bringing your own equipment if possible—Orchard Skateshop is one good place to buy a new board. • You’ll get to know me and your fellow participants and share your experience level—if any. I’ll then lead a stretching and warmup session. • I’ll teach you the basics of skateboarding, including rolling on level ground and turning, before helping you learn how to ride down a small ramp. • Finally, I’ll answer any questions you have and make recommendations for continuing your skateboarding journey here in Boston or back at home. You’ll roll away with new skills and confidence—and maybe even a budding passion for skating.

Join me, a local photographer, for an architecture- and history-focused photo walk around Boston’s Back Bay and Beacon Hill, revealing iconic locations and hidden gems beloved by locals. I’ll share tips and techniques for capturing the best photos of our tour—no fancy equipment required! • In Copley Square, you’ll photograph the interiors of three stunning buildings—the Boston Public Library, Trinity Church, and the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel—as I discuss their architecture. • Stroll to some of the city’s most photogenic destinations, including the Massachusetts State House, the cobblestone streets in Beacon Hill, and the lagoon at the Boston Public Garden. I’ll offer my advice on the best angles and viewpoints. • Take photos of stately 1860s brownstones, intimate gardens, and the residences of historic Boston figures, including Edwin Booth, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Robert Frost, and Louis Brandeis. You’ll leave with a new perspective on the city, as well as a library of stunning images to commemorate your trip.

Haul up the sails! Take the tiller! Or just chill with an adult beverage while our historic schooner slides through Salem Sound past lighthouses, forts, and waterfront homes. We'll motor out from Pickering Wharf in downtown Salem and call for volunteers to help raise the sails. Depending on the wind, we may shape a course toward Beverly, Marblehead, or head straight out toward the islands! Our interactive crew point out landmarks, explain the operation of the schooner, and mix drinks with equal facility. The captain and crew will explain the significance of the FAME, privateering, and the War of 1812. The firing of the cannon is always a highlight! The sails last roughly an hour and forty minutes. When we return to Pickering Wharf, you're right in the heart of downtown Salem — perfectly placed for a meal, a drink, or a stroll! Note: We will not sail if steady rain, high winds, or thick fog are expected; you will be refunded. If do we cancel a sail, we will reach out to you thru air bnb. Dress for the weather — you are exposed to the elements on our 1812 schooner! This trip is NOT appropriate for infants or toddlers. But once kids are 5 years old, they really enjoy it! The schooner is certified for 49 passengers plus crew. But since 2021 we are sailing at 60% capacity, which means there will be a maximum of 30 guests on your sail.

I offer walking tours of coastal, scenic natural beauty. You will discover conservation land, local beaches, charming coves, islands, hidden lanes, ponds, spectacular harbor views, charming architecture and a colonial burying ground. Focus is on the scenery and coastline, but history and local folklore are inevitable in any walk around Marblehead. We will concentrate on the very oldest part of the old fishing village, and walk on lanes, paths, and sand bars that you'll only find with a local guide. Other things to note This is a walking tour of approximately 2 miles or 1.5 hours. Can be modified according to guests' needs and preferences. There are limited bathroom facilities, hills, sandy and rocky terrain.

We will visit parks & community gardens, talk about the sights along the way & explore the extensive food scene - Boston locals eat here in the South End! No chains here. Local & international food abounds. I will share “best kept secrets” to enhance your time in my favorite city! The South End is next to Copley Square & borders the Back Bay & Downtown & Chinatown but is just off the beaten path!
