If you want to pay to go to the beach, this is the place. Also, RV camping with reservations. Actually the drive up what we call The Strand is beautiful, with the Pacific on one side and San Diego Bay on the other.

This is the closest beach to Golden Hill. You have to pay to park but during the busy season this place is a jewel. You can park right where you set up on the sand. The bathrooms are nice. Sometimes there is a lot of seaweed to deal with. Water temps can be slightly lower than elsewhere due to the direct ocean exposure.

This is a safe and clean beach that is not too far from the property. It is a state beach so there is a fee to get in. $10 per vehicle $15 on holiday weekends.
