If you want a really authentic local food experience, check out the Sayan night market. Bring your translator though because you will have a hard time without some Indonesian language :)

A nice market with not too many tourists. You can enjoy their food and try a few of their drinks.

It's a night market and you can get second hand clothes (from USA), and yummy night time local food!
