Perfect for a summers day - offers a very safe creek/beach, fishing, paddle boards, and a cafe/eatery. The location on map is not correct. It is actually near Boambee Bay Resort, off Sawtell Road.
Excellent place for families just 3 minutes away. $5.00 entry for cars. Fishing, swimming, BBQ facilities, playground, hire canoes and stand up paddle boards (during school holidays). Kiosk on site.
You can drive onto the beach up to boambee bay (4wd only) or drive in to the bay ($5 fee) you can hire paddle boards high tide is best
Boambee Bay Creek Reserve is a winner for all visitors. For a $5 vehicle entry fee, you have access to gas BBQs, picnic tables, a kids playground, plenty of grassy areas for a game of cricket or just to lay out a picnic blanket and relax. It is the perfect place to SUP, kayak or float with the incoming and outgoing tides on an inflatable. Dog friendly (on lead).
