An hour drive up the lake, Kaslo is a beautiful historic town right on the water with loads of heritage appeal. Great little bistros and restaurants here too. Be sure to hit the Angry Hen for a craft beer flight! Stops along the way: Ainsworth Hot Springs and Fletcher Falls.

Lots of shops and cafes. Three or 4 historic stops. Paddle boat that hauled people and cargo up and down the lake before roads. Mining museum, Town hall with pictures ,old jail and the court house that sentenced the last man to hang in bc
