Here you can go to the cheese factory or the Cailler-Nestlé cheese factory in Broc (3 km away) and visit by foot the touristy old town or hike or ski on the Moleson mountain.

A visit to the fortified 13th century Gruyères Castle is a must. Roaming through the Castle with its Knights’ Hall, turrets, battlements, defensive walls and garden is a fantastic experience. When visitors are tired of looking at the panorama of the Alpine foothills from the Castle terrace, they can stroll through the traffic-free streets of the small town. New photo opportunities present themselves at every step.

One of Switzerland's most typical little gems as confirmed by Unesco and many international tourist boards. But still very laid back and just nice to hang out, visit the castle, eat some fondue and "double crème" as a desert.
