Refreshing walk through the forest. We like monkey forest more for the jungle walk and scenery than the actual monkeys. Watch out for the little guys stealing your food, better yet, don't bring any food into the area. Beautiful.
Mandala Suci Wenara Wana, or well known as Ubud Monkey Forest, is the sanctuary and natural habitat of the Balinese long-tailed Monkey, scientific name Macaca fascicularis. It is located at Padangtegal Ubud, Bali. About 1049 monkeys live in this sanctuary. They are divided into 6 groups, namely in front of main temple group, forest conservation group, central point group, eastern group, Michelin group, and cemeteries group.

Monkey Forest Ubud is a sacred nature reserve, located on the southern end of Jalan Monkey Forest. It houses the temple of Dalem Agung Padantegal and over 600 long-tailed macaques. This small reserve offers a unique spectacle share the beautiful scenery combining both nature and ancient monuments. Advices: To enjoy in peace, come to the opening so as not to find yourself caught in the trap of tourist buses Attention monkeys are small scroungers therefore protect your belongings. Also avoid carrying food with you.
