The TN Aquarium marked one of the beginnings of a new downtown Chattanooga. It has been a local favorite since it opened in 1992 and a great tourist destination. We love the beautiful architecture and the layout which focuses on fish, birds, insects and animals whose habitats are the River systems both in the US and the world and also the salt water exhibit which includes penguins as well as sharks and other ocean creatures.

Chattanooga Aquarium is a wonderful way to spend the day. It is in the heart of Downtown Chattanooga. It consists of 2 buildings and has unique features like an interactive butterfly room, which is sure to delight kids and adults!
