This venue is less a wine bar and more a tasting cellar but you can buy wine by the glass or bottle and drink it there. It is in 28 Victoria Street, Wollongong and is fairly new. It seems to be a very quiet part of town. Check the website for opening times. My daughter was able to organise a wine tour of wineries in the South Coast with the owner who owns Simall Wines. The cheese platter, (half for $30 or a full one for $60) is delicious. I tried six wine tastings for $15.00 and, on my visit, the pourings were so generous (I only tried three) I didn’t dare have any more. On my visit, my partner and I were the only ones in the bar so there was no vibe as such. It was 5:00pm on a miserable Saturday. We enjoyed the wine very much. It is not, I would suggest, cheap.
