The History museum in Vathi offers a great deal of things to see and learn about the island and ofcourse the great statue of Kouros, one of the largest statues ever found. You can combine your visit to the museum with a coffee inside the gardens of Vathi which is just near. A nice and quite area with a playground for kids.
