What’s great about this new art complex is that there are 2 warehouses and 15 permanent galleries here, showing artists who are emerging to mid-career and beyond, which makes it easy for people to come as you can see a ton of art in one location. There are also a couple of rotating spaces where other galleries come do temporary exhibits. This venture, created by art patrons Andy and Deborah Rappaport, is the shot in the arm that the San Francisco art scene needed. All of the galleries do run on slightly different schedules, so be sure to check their hours beforehand. Just For You café, Hard Knocks café, Marcella’s Lasagneria, and Smokestack at Magnolia Brewing are all great restaurants, close by, and on the cheaper side.
