River rock shore access to a shallow section of the Bear River. Walk about 100 yards from the free parking area to the water. Not suitable for kids under three years old without constant supervision. The river here is shallow, but the water has a bit of a current around some large boulders. River shoes are recommended.

1 mile from the hut, walk or drive to the Bear River. Raft, swim, hike, gold pan, sunbathe. It's all good and we can give you the inside tips on where to go.

Great place to cool down and hang out at the river. The campground is closed so the whole area is day use only (as of summer 2022).
