“Take a water bottle , jacket, and head off for the a delightful few hours. Definitely need walking shoes that are comfortable not heels. This is a unique treasure hidden only 20 minutes walk in and its like an oasis once you arrive. Toilets and a Cafe by day on one side stunning restaurant the other by evening surrounded by plants and peacocks . If walking is an issue then head to the West Launceston entrance and take the chairlift across. Wheelchair access also provided with an outdoor lift.”

“Stillwater (12 min walk) One of Launcestons finest restaurants. Situated in an 1830s flourmill its a great location with views over the Tamar River. This is the place to go if you want cuisine with an emphasis on local Tasmanian produce. Great for breakfast, lunch and dinner or a drink in the wine bar. ”
