Fantastic weekend day out- Queensland largest permanent market with many dozens of stores and stalls- clothes, food, services, antiques, organic vegetables and international nick knacks- you can walk there.

This is home to the French Quarter with a small collection of up market restaurants, French and Indian, a few cafes, a medical centre and pharmacy and only 5 minutes drive. Thursday from 3pm they have the night market with fruit and veg stall a few food stalls and a musician playing, it's small but nice. It's a nice place to eat and find a free parking spot before a game at the Metricon Stadium as you can walk across the road to the stadium from there.
