VIA is San Antonio's Public Transit Authority. Make sure you check them out if you don't plan to have a vehicle to get around.

San Antonio's bus system, VIA, is a good one. It doesn't cost much to take the bus. Connections are pretty good and it can take you all over the City, but it's best not to ride into certain neighborhoods at night. Plan accordingly and ride during the day.
