Get your nature fix in this beautiful state park with great views. (We don't have many hills in this part of the country. This is a good place to go if you are missing them).

If you want to get out of town and into the countryside for a 1/2 day visit Whitewater. Hiking, swimming, and geocaching. Visit the Elba Fire Tower for a scenic view of SE Minnesota.

A nearly mosquito-free hiking, swimming, picnicking, and trout fishing destination. One of my all-time-favorites!

Minnesota is fiercely proud of our parks and trails and Whitewater is consistently on the list of the 'best state parks in Minnesota'. Activities year around this is a great place to getaway for a day and catch some incredible views and fresh air.
