The jail trail is perfect for short hikes. It is on the edge of old Main Street Cottonwood and leads to the Verde River.

Jail trial is a quick escape to nature if you're in Old Town Cottonwood. The trail winds around to the Verde River. The trailhead rests by the old stone building (once a jail) across from Bocce's Bar Strata.
