Hike w/ pools of water. Easily accessible by small walk or can make it an all day thing. There is usually places to swim.
Water flows here in abundance after a good summer rain. If you go, just note clothing is sometimes optional.
Tanque Verde Falls is a beautiful and popular hike on the far east side of Tucson. The biggest draw is the billowing waterfall at the end of the 1.8-mile trail. Make sure you arrive here very early in the morning since the desert heat is unbearable for those who are not used to a triple-digit weather.
