“$ Responsible for the re-emergence of many native species, Zealandia is one of my favourite places to go in Wellington. They are now home to over 200 Tuataras, and let you walk around colonial gold mining spaces. Take as long as you want in the extensive sanctuary, short and long loops are available. Wear appropriate footwear. There are wheelchair accessible walks.”

“Interesting exhibits and stories of Wellington. Quite different from Te Papa and very worthwhile. Just opposite the Academy of Fine Arts and near the NZ Portrait Gallery too.”
