The Palm Court hosts trad jazz groups, and they're legit. They serve dinner, and it's a great place to see some serious trad. It's the place I'd highly recommend to hear the inside trad scene.
Traditional creole dining and nightly live shows from 8pm to 11pm Wednesday through Sunday, on Decatur near the French Market.
New Orleans traditional jazz at its finest! Come here for dinner, great jazz or both. Highly recommended.

Bar à vin
“Named a top 10 wine bar in the U.S. by both Gayot and Fox News, Patrick’s Bar Vin is a New Orleans wine bar in the heart of the French Quarter, managed by New Orleans’ own bon vivant, Patrick Van Hoorebeek. Step inside the private courtyard and you’ll discover an elegant gathering place full of locals, perhaps a few Krewe of Cork members, and wine enthusiasts from around the world. Rich hues and personal touches by Patrick reflect the warm and relaxed atmosphere. An limited number of personalized, climate-controlled wine lockers are available for annual ownership. In addition to offering an extensive wine menu, patrons will find a fine selection of beers from Patrick’s native country of Belgium as well as a host of signature cocktails.”

“VOODOO - Rev. Zombie's Voodoo shop shares ownership with Marie Laveaux's and is a little more on the novelty side, walking the fine line between authentic voodoo shop (with dolls, masks, lucky charms, etc.) and selling kitschy souvenirs. People interested in both demographics can find what they are looking for while falling under the spell of the shop's particular brand of spiritual aura. If you're looking for something beyond the typical souvenir, this is the place for dolls, potions, amulets, books and all matter of spiritual supplies. There are also displays of gris-gris (voodoo charms), potions and memorabilia pertaining to Voodoo queen Marie Laveau,”
