Great drive..like going from the desert to Canada... great hiking or car pull outs for great views, ski place at the top has yummy comfort foods like soup and stews, nice outdoor eating area with views if you go on a warm winter afternoon.
A one hour drive rising 6500 ft! From cacti to pine. Has a few restaurants, a ski lodge and hiking! Many places to explore along the way, Spend an afternoon or a day! Good sunsets at Windy Point, half way up the mountain.
