Great views. See firsthand a historic lighthouse built in the 1800s which is now completely surrounded by water due to beach erosion. Walking required but worth it!
A short quarter mile walk at the end of the island to our scenic beach and lighthouse.
Park at the northeast end of Folly Beach, and a 15 min walk will take you to the best view of the lighthouse.
Drive to the very north end of Folly beach and walk until you cant walk anymore.. you will enjoy beautiful bare wood on the beach, dolphins feeding, and who knows what other wildlife. Cool Graffiti along the way! Go in the morning or late afternoon is my favorite!

“This is without a doubt, a must see and checkbox item while you visit. Amazing sunset and sunrise views and great for fishing or photo opportunities! Also, fun to grab a drink at the bar right on the pier or if you want a cool treat...get some ice cream at the store right on the pier.”
