A lot of history in this one place. Well worth the time to travel up there.

We took a trip out here recently and it was a lot of fun. There’s so much to see. It’s an undervalued adventure to check out. They offer underground mine tours as well so call ahead. It’s worth it!

The mills stand silent, housing original boiler, stamp mill, and elevator, as if tomorrow they will awaken to the thunderous roar of steel crushing rock. April 15 through September you will need to call for hours.
