Casual restaurant with good food. Call to double check days/nights they are open. It is also the longest continually running bar in Wisconsin. Stop by for a shot of Bitters!

The oldest legally continuously operated tavern in the state of Wisconsin, est 1899. Owner Tom Nelson skirted the Prohibition by applying for a pharmacy license and selling Angostura Bitters as a stomach tonic. Become an official member of The Bitter's Club after downing a shot of the magic potion. A restaurant is attached and great for a family meal.

Join the historic Bitters Club or grab a lunch or dinner in the restaurant. Nelson's Hall was one of the few bars that stayed open during prohibition because serving Bitters was seen as medicinal.
