This scenic viewpoint overlooks the breathtaking Delaware River, and allows for a peaceful stop before you hit the road in or out of the Poconos. This stop is ideal for those looking to just take a quick breather. If you’re looking for a grander view, check out nearby hiking trails. Route 611, between Delaware Water Gap and Portland, Pa, just outside of Delaware Water Gap. A few miles further south is the Point of the Gap overlook, which gives a view of Mt. Tammany in NJ. If you are at the right angle, along the right side of the mountain you can see the famed "Native American Indian Head" profile. This is a 20 minute drive from our Airbnb.
