It is the ancient cemetery of Athens. Probably not the most famous sight seeing in Athens but certainly one of the nicest! You can see it without even entering it, though I would definately suggest to pay the ticket- I do it myself from times to times. You can note how Christian churches evolved in order to suppress the old religion. Also a great place to walk and enjoy a beer without being in a bar. Especially during the hot nights you can feel the lower temperature in this lowest part of Ermou street!

Check out the Athenian nightlife by taking a walk to Keramikos!!! Also metro station in the public square

Square full of bars and restaurants that stay open until late at night especially in the weekends. Some buildings have a bar at the roof with beautiful view
