Kayak the Eau Claire River! Put in below the dam at the County Park or at Legion Park on Highway 27, and take out at County Road D for a 9.5-mile trip (4-5 hour paddle). The scenic stretch features clear water, lush sand bars, lines of tall green pines and a diversity of wildlife. For a shorter trip, put in at Harstad County Park on County Road HHH.
