Melvich Beach is a 10-minute walk away or alternatively, take the car and park in the car park. It is very popular with the surfing community. Other beaches to visit nearby include Strathy, Armadale, and Farr.

Another great beach for walking, a picnic, surfing or checking out the scenery of our white sand coves and beaches.

Little bit of a hike in but well worth it. Good parking too but its down a slightly beaten track. Just round the coast is Portskerra harbour - great place for a swim!

It is wonderful beach which ideal for surfing . Also the Halladale River feeds into the sea so you get the best of both worlds, the river walk and the beach. You may be lucky enough to see the otters
