Stunning formerly private mansion with beautiful artwork and décor. Not as big-ticket as the big museums but absolutely breathtaking. Well worth a visit.
it might not be on the top of your list, but if you have extra time, you won't be desappointed. If you prefer, the museum has also a restaurant/ tea house in the afternoon.
This museum takes place in the former Hotel Particulier where used to live the couple Jacquemart-André. This is the perfect reflection of the luxurious French Second Empire era. You will be overwhelmed by the monumental staircase, the hivernal garden, the private rooms of the couple, the italian…
