The bean at josefinas it’s the most relax site for a cup of coffee and pastry. They have breakfast and lunch. Spring/summer is the best time here.

Located within a quaint house made from adobe, Josefina's Old Gate Cafe is a long-time symbol of welcome and warmth in the town’s historic Mesilla Plaza. Guests can stop and admire the front gate, which dates back to the 1930’s and enjoy a glass of wine, a light meal, or coffee on the sunny patio or in the exquisitely restored parlor. Josefina's Old Gate Cafe is open for both breakfast and lunch between the months of March and October from 8:00am until 5:00pm. From November to February, the charming patio cafe is open from 8:00am until 3:00pm.

Its now called "The Bean at Josefina's", walking distance from the plaza. Beautiful patio to have coffee on and great breakfast food!
