By FAR our favorite place to eat in Angel Fire. We walk out the front door, down the steps toward Chili Lift and you are at El Jefe.

Great setting right at the foot of the mountain. Nice to sit outside and breathe the fresh mountain air. They've fried chicken taco, steak tacos , taco salad, brisket burrito, Caribbean bowl, chips and queso, pork carnitas, margaritas, and smoothies.

This is a great place to hang out and enjoy a meal and a beer with friends. The Mexican food is good too!

Great aprés stop! Get off the bike or skis and enjoy some Fresh Mex at the base of Chile Express.
