1 hr 45 min (89 miles) drive. The route is though mostly state park property with opportunities to see wildlife. During Aurora season the route is a nice drive to see the northern lights. The museum is located at Chenea Hot Springs Resort. Swim in the Hot Spring, eat in the restaurant, or go hiking.

Take a drive (about an hour 15 mins) to Chena Hot Springs -- We recommend a tour of the ice museum, eat a the restaurant and then soak in the hot springs (18+ only). There is an indoor pool for all ages. *WARNING- the Appletini in the ice museum is strong ;)
