Walk up to the top of the Gondola. Takes about 45mins if you're fit, or just take your time. Reward yourself with a real fruit ice-cream at the top & take in the views. If you're too tired, pay to take the gondola back down! Or ride the Gondola up & walk back down.

If you prefer to walk up the Skyline gondola (and save some cash!) you can take the Tiki Trail from town. An internet search for "Tiki Trail, Queenstown" will give you more info!

For one of the best views of Queenstown and an iconic experience in the alpine resort, there’s the Tiki Trail. Starting at the bottom of the gondola the Tiki Trail winds its way towards the lookout at the top where you have the option of making your way back down, after a few photos and a drink, or if the climb has got the better of you relax in the Gondola for the journey back down.
