The bird tables are fantastic - we've seen all types of birds and red squirrels from the tables inside, through the large glass windows - and the bird-feeders are about 5 feet away.

It is located in the heart of Aviemore. Great walks around and this cafe has great bird watching and other animals who come to help themselves from the bird feeders they have. Cakes are amazing!

A hidden gem in the heart of the woods. This place does the best cakes around, many layered Scandinavian gateaux with the chance to see red squirrels and birds on the feeders hung by the window.

Bus Station
“The "Cairn" is a family favourite with us, no nonsense pub food and is always busy, don't worry if it looks too packed though, go to reception and they will give you a buzzer so you can go get a drink in the bar while you wait for your table. Friendly staff and great atmosphere, there is often live music, look for the board in the bar and it will tell you whats on each night. Also through the summer months in the evening, Spud the piper plays outside for a while.”
