This is more of a lounge but it's full of friendly, interesting people. I recommend this as a great starting spot for a night out.

Everything here is excellent. Try their popular tree smacker drink. The duck fat fries and the bacon wrapped meatloaf are great food choices. For dessert, have a chocolate martini or a creme brûlée.

Love any Lalla,There are three on the peninsula. This one is downtown Monterey, there is one in Del Monte Shopping Center and one on Cannery Row too! This particular one is open until midnight. The crowd is around the bar at night, great place to meet people. The owner takes pride in his establishments. Great local hang outs!
