A great place to visit if you want to see the glacier or even do a glacier walk!

What 50 % of tourists come to see: the glacier. Easiest to see in summer. Spring–summer they offer guided walks on it. And December–April guided hikes inside the ice grotto!

How about a walk on the glacier? The beautiful Nigardsbreen Glacier is well worth the trip.

I recommend combining this with a trip to Sognefjord, alternatively also a visit to the Urnes Stave church

It will take you about 40 minutes by car to go from Stølen to Jostedalen.
