Mother Ivy's bay. Possibly the most beautiful local beach. Turquoise blue water on sunny days. Pretty cliffs leading down to covey beach. Excellent bay for swimming & paddle boarding. Quiet, sheltered beach, protected from prevailing wind & waves. Location for Padstow Life Boat station (painted with Farrow & Ball colours!). Launch day - Wednesday. Well worth a visit. Park in Booby's beach car park - free for National Trust members - pretty short walk across fields & cliffs. No lifeguards. No amenities.

Situated at Trevose Head about a 40 mins walk sth along the coastpath. Can also get there by car. Usually open each day, this new building and it's state of the art boat makes a good family trip.
