Try this place out for delicious candy made of local fruit. This is located in Cashmere which is about 10 minutes away.

Famous for their Aplets & Cotlets (if your unfamiliar with them, take the tour known as "the sweetest tour on the Cascade loop" and learn all about them). Closed on weekends Jan-Mar.

The factory is very small town and a nice touch you can take home to friends or family.
