Because my father was an antiquarian book collector. The fragrance of this store reminds me of him. Also a fun selection of used books and prints if you are in to that sort of thing.

Just a short walk away, this is a favorite (mostly secondhand) bookstore. Caliban supplies used books to most of the second-hand shops in NYC, so you know the selection is epic. Don’t miss the fiction paperback section in the basement.
