The Giant Staircase is a rock formation made from the ocean. The waves crash up on to the rocks and the spray goes everywhere. You can sit for hours being mesmerized by the power of the ocean.

Easily one of my favorite places to eat in Harpswell for lobster, breakfast, chowder, and pie. Located on Bailey's Island at 2118 Harpswell Island Road. Open 7 days/week .
