In the summer you can hike and in the winter you can ski. It is a great place to get some fresh air.

5 minute drive- There is a huge playground at this park and tons of covered picnic tables. There are really easy trails to walk along with kids. This park offers canoe rental and well as kayak and paddleboard rental.
