By the river, steamtrains running nearly always, historical old station, good coffee shop and quaint attractions such as the old Post train and bookshop in train carriage....well worth a visit for a train trip, a steam experience or just a cup of coffee.
The Nene Valley Station is on a fragment of railway line which once linked Peterborough to Blisworth. First opened in 1847, this railway is now a popular visitor attraction. Steam and diesel locomotives run during the school holidays and at weekends.
