Walk around the corner to the historic district. The setting is stunning. Sit outside by the river or inside and enjoy the scenery. The food is basic Kiwi with an attention to delicious coffee and delicious cakes. I would recommend the roast beef sandwich. Not the place if you're really hungry. Bill (owner) also has a wonderful selection of old photographs to give you a sense of what Cromwell once looked like.
