The Carpenter Hotel has a fabulous restaurant and is also open for early morning coffee and tacos so perfect place to hit before or after walking the trail. Think you might also be able to buy day passes to the pool.

Amazing breakfast tacos and kolaches at Hot El Coffee out front - get the chorizo + egg taco for sure. Also good breakfast and brunch at the restaurant.

15 minute walk from house. Great restaurant for any meal, good place to meet for coffee, good breakfast tacos! Run/walk on Lady Bird Lake hike bike trail in the morning then grab coffee here on you way home.

Adorable little hotel. Great for coffee or HH>I usually get their $7 burger and $2 IPA.
