Great museum and restaurant in the old death row building. Angola's history as a large plantation turned a popular state prison is shown here and is surprisingly a great visit. On the way take Parker Rd through the Tunica Hills for breathtaking views and flora and fauna not expected in LA. And if you are here in Sundays in October or spring in April, the rodeo is awesome. a must visit museum and gift shop!! not to mention their annual rodeo during the month of October and in April...it's something to see.

A bit weird, but interesting. In the spring and fall, the Angola Prison Rodeo brings huge crowds.
