Ice cream in cones for the kids and a shed containing antiques to retro items. You never know what you'll find in there.

Tasmania’s last steam powered passenger train has been preserved and its carriages converted to small cafes and shops – great for the kids as well as mum and dad.

We love this place! I cant decide if its sightseeing or Food scene. It has both! A family friendly shopping and tourist precinct located in and around an historic 1950's steam train located only 15 mins south of Hobart. A unique Tasmanian shopping & dining experience, set on board and around the final resting place of the TGR M Steam Locomotive and carriages. Ample off street parking, kids playground, picnic tables and public toilets. An eclectic collection of local small businesses offer you a range of delicious food, refreshing drinks and shopping delights that are sure to put a smile on your face!

The Pancake train serves hearty plates, great coffee and local ice cream. The Devils Brewery has tasting paddles. Gozleme Wraps make vegan friendly falafel. Their barramundi and chips are also fantastic. There is a really good antiques place on site and some lovely quirky independent traders selling everything from jewellery to rockabilly dresses and unique boots for women. Check it all out.
