Greenwood Rising is the flagship project of the Centennial Commission and was chosen to be built as the world-class history center located on the southeast corner of Greenwood and Archer, the gateway to Tulsa's Historic Greenwood District. It opened with the commemoration of 100 years since the Tulsa Race Massacre, this museum displays the story of Black Wall Street and one of the most grievous moments of American history. Admission is free during the first year.
