Pioneer Bar is located on 4th Avenue. It is a fun hole-in-the-wall bar. Typically it is a younger crowd (20's and 30's), but as with any bar in Alaska, you'll find people of all ages. There are pool tables and dancing. This is a fun place on the weekends.

Stop by Pioneer Bar to warm up with a quick beer or shot before heading outside for more Iditarod and Fur Rondy festivities. The bar has been a fixture and local favorite since 1952. Check out the historic photos on the walls!
